In order to ensure a smooth operation during the talks there is an opportunity on Thursday evening for the speakers to verify their presentation on the PC that is available in the lecture halls.

To avoid possible problems with Powerpoint presentations we ask the users of this program to save their presentation with the images, movies and used fonts embedded in the presentation. (Microsoft Office 2000/XP users: select Save as from the 'File' menu, then select the Embed Truetype fonts from the 'Tools' pull-down menu in the upper right-hand corner. Additionally, the Pack-and-go utility available from the 'File' menu could be used for this. Please refer to your product manual if you use a different version.)
